Bathroom Fans And Electricity Bill

BALANCE OF THE 2010 SEASON (1 / 2 )

Those who follow this blog are aware that this year I applied for the first time in my life, a plan Driving a little structure that is mainly based (mais.pas only) on a book that has had great success in Spain "planning Pedaladas silent" written by Chema Arguedas (a bicycle tour which, thanks to his passion, specializes in the areas of training and nutrition. Even if it continues always with his job as a machinist at RENFE).

Recently, at the start of registration for the Quebrantahuesos and the Etape du Tour, a lot of people (rather than Spain, but not exclusively) focused on the results of such planning and especially to see if it really market. In any case, I pretend to be expert but I just want to share with you my personal experience.

The first thing to consider is that the mere structure and plan the season (according to my available family and work) was in itself a source of motivation even further in time to run various training sessions. At any time you know what to do and for what.

And after a few weeks of progress with the program, motivation goes up a notch and it's much easier to introduce changes to the unexpected and / or adapt a session depending on the shape / fatigue the moment.

Regarding the training, I started early this year with the objective of achieving very cool the first two months (January and February) but mixing the aerobic base (below 70% of the freq. cardiac max.) sessions with force development (big gear low cadence +).
The problem is that on the home trainer can perform the exercises as we had planned, but when you go out with a group that is very difficult (or impossible) to keep pace if bottom wheel without letting go. So even without reaching the levels of heart rate in other years, I passed, systematically, the level that I had originally planned (which is not good for developing the hair). Still, my average heart rate during these two months was down more than ten beats before (which shows how I roll ;-) before m'assagir

Towards the end of February to prepare the second phase, where I had to start working the split, I made a Conconi test "homemade" (with a home trainer and someone who can take the data it really easy). This enabled me to determine anaerobic threshold for my work as it should be alternated with some cool sessions to continue the development of capillaries.

And that way, I came to spring break (mid-April) when I'm gone for two weeks in Spain. Now, I could use all the tracks of my heart. During this period I used to test me with an outlet long distance (~ 150 km - 2000 m vertical) at a rate of cycling event, so between 150 and 160 beats. Max. A golden opportunity to test also the energy that I use to think cyclists. My main

problem during my holiday in Spain is to follow a balanced diet and, above all, compatible with training as intensive. The family receives you with open arms and they make a point of honor you prepare the dishes we like and that, moreover, I did not get to eat for the rest of the year and ... me, I can not say no ... ;-)

Conclusion, reducing weight I started was cut short and, well, I did a lot of my workouts vacuum because, despite everything, I had not eaten carbohydrates. So, finally, the break level as I had planned did not happen and I stayed (at about) the same fitness level as in 2009. Because of poor diet I had wasted my lead.

Anyway, after much sacrifice and only one month of my first goal, I did not watch this kind of detail, therefore, during the month of May, I continued with the planned program: intensive sessions for work rhythm and the threshold but not exceeding four hours of riding.

The appointment approached but just a week before and because of the job, I had to leave Valladolid with four French colleagues who were willing to try English cuisine accompanied by a "few" beers to drink: Ideal conditions for preparing the three balloons, a race of 205 km with more than 4000 m drop ;-)

The penalty on this test did not reach, but there were other reasons:
- First, it is a cyclo too hard to be programmed as the first appointment (I had to plan at least another in mid-May, as I did in 2009, or make two or three trips of more than six hours).
- Those who read the Chronicle will recall that I had mild dehydration with a windbreaker that I too dragged me and some digestive problems because of my products Overstims's body had trouble assimilating (which does not mean that they are for something, just that I do not tolerate well).
- I was not strong: By causing the intensity I forgot that little detail ... :-(

There were only two weekends (almost three weeks) for the Marmotte and despite the good feelings I had two problems for urgent attention: The weight (almost 1.5 kg compared to my healthy weight and strength. So these days, I adapted my training by adding some intensive sessions to develop strength and all that, not to mention outings too cool not to enter the reserves.
And Groundhog Day has arrived. An edition where the combination of heat and humidity affected me a lot. But to be perfectly honest, despite the accumulated effort and dragged him semi-structured, I was not the same as in 2009. I estimate that at around the 4% below.

Does that mean that the program has wrong? The answer in a few days ... ;-) Good

Martinism the eighteenth century between Freemasonry and Christian esotericism

At the next conference GREMM, we have the pleasure and honor to welcome Dominique Clairembault us a presentation on "Martinism the eighteenth century between Freemasonry and esoteric Christian" .
The speaker is best known through its excellent website dedicated to the Unknown Philosopher: http://www.philosophe-inconnu.com/ which for any fan of the thought of St. Martin and its context a resource valuable.

Conference summary:
The subject of this communication will lead us to evoke the history, doctrine and practices of one of the most amazing Masonic currents: the order of Knight Masons Coens elected to the universe, commonly referred order of the Elect Coens.
This movement gave rise to various levels of initiation called "Martin" and that the "original martinism" one of the Elect Coens, founded by Martines de Pasqually the middle of the eighteenth century, that we will be interested. This order has the appearance of a masonic society of a particular kind. Indeed it relies on a doctrine related to Christianity, to the point that speaks to her about esoteric Christianity or even Christian esotericism. It also uses rites theurgic. What are these rituals and what are their goals? That's what we try to understand during this conference.

are looking for these two characters, Mark and Patrick. The only ones who dared to report for appointment today (and we did not neither cold nor hot: 0 ° C ;-) Just
As you can see, their faces covered, probably with obscure reasons.

We left in groups but from the beginning I imposed my hectic pace. They held the first rib (through a roundabout they negotiated twice) but the second steep slope, they withdrew and I lost. This is normal ... that could take an average of 23.7 km / h to 134 beats? ;-)

And here I was alone and abandoned, as expected ... Well, to be honest I had already warned so they were given carte blanche to leave because I wanted to follow my training program (ie ie, the development of capillaries). At first they tried to tempt me, they were rolling in front of me only 100 m, but when they saw that I stood at the entrance Lardy, they left. From my side, leaving Lardy, the temperature fell from the side obscure: -1 ° C Normal ;-), because as you can see from the picture there was a little snow. It is well known in the freezer it is still more than fridge cold ...

;-) Well, I continued as planned to Poupette where the road was a bit icy (it was not salty ) within the limits of acceptability for a bike ride. Fortunately I took it in the direction of the climb, I do not want to think about those, today, took it the other way.
Approaching the Racoin Mesnil, more snow and hunters on the right and left. In the snowy fields that can be seen at the bottom I saw a deer trying to escape the chase but I arrived late for the photo. I hope that hunters will not have been luckier than me. I continued on the road and in the false flat (before diving towards Etampes) I was caught by two riders old enough that rolled to the bottom to catch me (apparently, and despite their age, they don ' have not heard either, capillaries ;-). Oddly, they calmed down just pass me so I rolled in their wheels for a while and passing some relays.

And we drove up to three Lardy where they veered to the right and me on my side, at home with much milder temperatures: 1 ° C.

In conclusion, these first two weeks of the season I managed to keep my plan, even if most of the sessions were on the home trainer. I established a new record, nine meetings of the yarn ... :-(

And next week, resting a bit forced, because I go to Turkey and, increasingly, I can not go out or Saturday or Sunday ( perhaps, if I have any luck on the roll). I'll keep you posted ... Good

Socks Required Invitation Wording

WANTED DOUBLE SESSION OF THE PREPARATORY PERIOD TORTURE

Another weekend fleet (and second). It's true we had a Saturday with a beautiful weather but we were invited from Florian and Salima who recently moved. For those with short memories, just remember that Florian is my companion at different fatigue where cyclists I participated (almost always with him).

Worse, throughout the week, the weather forecast predicted a rotten Saturday and Sunday of sun and finally the contrary we had.

So, not to throw down my first week of training, this Sunday I improvised a double session (one hour each) of home trainer (one in the morning, the other apg). For two weeks the only thing I can do. Six sessions where I traveled 128 km without moving a single mm in my garage ... I'm starting to get pissed!!

And to fix things during this time of year that I have programmed meetings of the most annoying. That pedaling at a slow pace without any split in order not to awaken the heart too and my hair grow.

The only positive with this overdose of home trainer is that I am trying to develop the pace: now, I get the legs turning over at 100 rpm while before (two years ago when I ' I started) I could barely at 80 rpm. One of these days I'll finish with the legs around the neck ...

;-) Well I hope this will be the last weekend with the fleet (at least for a time) because by dint of not moving the wheel front of my bike is currently developing roots ... ;-)

The good news is forced to stay locked in the house, I had time a link that leaves me spun Florian to find some old photos on cycling. I am looking for some to finish the decoration of my house ...

The one I show you here (where you see Poulidor Anquetil and trying to push himself on top of a hill during the Tour of 1964) one example is the 394 photos you can find on the site of the Team. And for those who are interested in seeing the entire collection, I'll leave the link below (believe me, it's worth spending a moment):

the way, you can try to guess the five I have chosen. Come on, let yourself go! It's easier than finding the five lotto numbers (even if it pays less ;-). An additional track, I chose as black and white ...

Find Schwarzkopf Products In Montreal

2011

With the opening of registration for the Etape du Tour and the Quebrantahuesos begins the 2011 season (at least for me). Indeed, the coincidence would have it, the organizers of two major appointment cyclos ("between France and Spain) have agreed to open registration on 16 November at noon.

In my case, homework is done. I am already registered for the Etape du Tour 2011 (Issoire - St.Flour) to be held July 17 (a few days after the passage of professionals). So now I can concentrate on training.

As you well know, last year (after twenty years of cycling in the legs) before I finally got to start rolling anyhow, he was planning a little season, Depending on my level and my goals, of course.

In my case, it does not happen in the leading group, Nearby, but to have a level allowing me to enjoy the 208 km from Step (without too much pain). While I certainly understand those who drive for a good ranking and others who dare not or will not enroll in such trials.

In the picture above, you have the first version of my training program (sorry, he is "francignol). Of course, I will have to adapt to the circumstances and, most importantly, my obligations throughout the year.

Now is the time to develop tissue capillaries around muscles, which means that I'll spend countless hours in the depths of my garage on my home trainer and ride alone every weekend.

Why solo? Simply because nobody (at least in groups I know) who is willing to slow down a bit. So, as I do not want to throw down my planning before it has begun, I must let you go. It's hard, I admit, but the price to move properly ...

And yes, unfortunately, many cyclists do not have time to plan the season with some logic. Unconsciousness by some (in my case until last year ... the season at full speed ;-) and others because have no concrete goal (aside from the fact of testing with or against their friends

;-) Well, there are those which have some real planning and roll gently during this time of year, but they have such a level that, while they roll their fingers in the nose (with a heart rate between 60 and 70% of max), you are literally exploding on your bike (in our group there are a few).

So, as I have not (yet ;-) the level of these monsters bike, I'm going to piss off for six weeks (until Christmas) in stock at a snail pace with asthma only hope to develop my hair (which is almost an act of faith because we do not have small windows on the calves to be able to track their progress ;-)

And it really works? To be honest, unless I was expecting at least the first two riders of the season (I saw that I already beat me with Schleck and Contador ;-). However, we must admit that on the Etape du Tour, and especially in recent months, I have very good feelings, so we'll see as soon as I finished my book dissect training (sorry, professional bias

;-) And while I accumulate the miles and I develop my hair, I will dedicated to the contemplation of the landscape, taking photos and collecting snails, taking advantage of my speed hypersonic try to climb the spokes ... ;-) Good

Shaker Beige With Accent Wall

P ... DRIVE THIS INVISIBLE

Weekend four days under effects of the storm. Nothing serious in this time of year because it's my week off before the start of the 2011 season.

But like all good cyclists know, leaving aside the bike does not mean we should abandon the exercise (our addiction to endorphins us from doing so). So me, following a tradition almost that time of the season, I threw myself into painting ... !!!!????

And after a two-day session "non stop" I can not understand that this activity is not considered an Olympic sport. Few sports can boast of being so complete as such in swimming, one develops all the muscles: legs, trunk, arms, etc.. And, very important for us cyclists, endurance base.

If someone decides to support it, we could organize events such as "line" first happens to be painted (this is just one example) a row of X meters long. Either type, obstacles which won first painted a room full of doors and windows. And if we add to this the various decorative techniques, the possibilities are endless ...

;-) For those who have never practiced, experts recommend starting meetings with the protection of sensitive elements which acts as a heating and such as cycling, avoids "injuries" more or less serious. Those who are accustomed to (which usually are those who have the best technique) can skip this phase. Be careful, as even if you are unfamiliar with the movements you have to repeat the exercise :-(

As in all sports, it is important to properly equip themselves. Jacket and trousers wide to perform the moves freely. Do not take yourself too by choosing the head dressed as colorful as you can see from the picture, you will have the opportunity to decorate yourself gradually according to your practice.

Very important, cap. For those who are not convinced of its usefulness (I know there are still refractory bicycle helmet), they just try to do her hair after a hard session of painting ... And that, regardless after, you explain to your barber cut your cause if "original".

The roll is one of the indispensable tools of the painter. You can use it as the photo, or an extension, which is very interesting to develop arm and upper half of the trunk. The strong can try putting a little weight to harden the year. Another important tool is the scale, which allows you to make some "steps" to strengthen the calves.
And as you can see the last picture, load the roller and, above all, paint the lower parts of walls, you can strengthen your abs and back muscles. As I had said before: One of the most comprehensive sports ...

Also, I had almost forgot to mention the collateral benefits: This training is the only one that your partner never criticizes. In my case, my wife is my biggest supporter, a wellspring that keeps not offer me new challenges. The next: the ceiling of the kitchen, she says, I will develop the torso ... ;-)

Good ... No bullshit! To be honest ... I'm tired of the wind and rain! and be trapped at home unable to leave!

A weekend of four days without setting foot outside, and worse, trying to paint ... I do not wish nor the worst of enemies!

Also ... did you watch the weather forecast for tomorrow, Monday? BUAHHH ... :-(

Unique Ideas For Seating Chart

This weekend we reach the first anniversary of blogs, which are yours. Just a reminder, this blog is published in two almost identical versions: one in French and one English.

One year we went a step further in our relationship weekly even if only virtually. It is also an open window between two worlds, that of our Sunday outings and practice cycloturisme in a corner of the Mediterranean coast known by the name of Vilanova i la Geltrú. It

TUSINU Manolo, the blogger most famous among the many people who publish their outputs cyclists out there in Catalunya who insisted that I tell my adventures here in France. Chronicles of our outings on Sunday, drive alone, cyclosportives, home trainer and many other things, always in association with this small world of cycloturisme. Well .... Almost always ... :-)

During this year (until the break counters visits) I was honored to receive over 10 000 visits (~ 7500 on the English blog, ~ 4500 on French version). Figures very modest when compared with specialists, but which demonstrate that thirty people, maybe more, take the time to take a look regularly and in passing interest in our adventures. There are also those who leave some comments in this chapter even if the room for improvement on the French side is very, very broad.

Until today, I published a little over 100 articles (much less than in the English version). But from now the challenge will be to start the second season with new stories, not to repeat myself too much and therefore bore you as you well know, the seasons cyclists resemble each other.

Otherwise, I promise nothing about the duration of the blog ... The stories that I will continue for a little envy and time to write and waiting ...

1st ANNIVERSARY IN THE FLEET

This morning at 06:00, after a Saturday rain uninterrupted, it continued to fall from the ropes. Fortunately, when I got up to the Sunday outing, the rain had stopped, so although I was sure to take the fleet, I took my Vitus and I went to join my fellow travelers (it was the last day in the Paris region for thierry2 who moves near Toulouse and Jean Claude, who returned to few weeks in the Dordogne).

(archive photo) Even if the eye was already lost there ... ;-)

There were not many. It was almost cold (7 ° C) and rain was guaranteed. For obvious reasons, no pictures today. We left

worm Chevreuse Valley and, just after Janvry, watching the clouds that we had over head we decided to cut. Well, all except Mark, who went straight on without listening to our suggestions, or to watch the first drops of rain began to fall. Him, he does not have permission to go home if he has less than 100 km on the clock ... ;-)

And indeed, we had barely lowered the rating Roussigny it was raining already strings. We took shelter for a few minutes in the supermarket down the descent but it did not stop and we were cold, we decided to continue.

We went straight to the house, under a curtain of frozen water. But this does not mean that we have avoided the Snail ... One way to warm up as another ... ;-)

Finally, only 61 km (half in the fleet). Just over 2:20 bike and almost the same time to clean it ... the pleasures of autumn here in France ... :-(

Old School Rollerskating

MY FIRST GOAL 2011

Last Monday, I stayed in bed so I ' I missed my appointment with the group Babou. Later in the morning I went out alone with the purpose of preparing my first goal of the 2011 season.

And now, after a few hints that I did in my past Chronic, I guess you begin to wonder what is it?

So at risk of disappointing you, here's the goal I set myself from the month of March (when he shoed less cold and the days are a bit longer): Go to work by bike ... ¡TACHAAAAM! :-)

And while the story for this?? (Oh yes you've thought so hard that I've heard ;-)

Well first be tried (and convicted, no doubt) let me explain the context:
- For starters, I live at 30 km from the job in the most densely populated area across Europe, so the highways and / or any freeways and millions of cars.
- The first leg (~ 15 km) leads to North (me closer to Paris) through a busy suburban area transited. At least she is very well lit.
- Bad luck, these 15 km are uphill (180 m vertical position) to reach the plateau where is located the Technocentre (Renault's engineering center).
- The first km is followed by about five miles on a road "lonely" no lights where cars, coming out of a box full of red lights, trace to 200 km / h (at least ... - )
- But all is not as "difficult" because, on the course, there are many bicycle paths. This words, these early research, I found (except around St. Quentin en Yvelines), which is VERY far from having a network of bikeways worthy of the name.

Some will ask why such an idea now. Well, it may shock you, but in the temple of the automobile (the Renault Technocentre ;-) there are a lot of people coming to work by bike. I'm surrounded ... among them, the most you could say ... crazy, just in from Paris to mountain bike through the parks and forests (in some parts of the trail singletrack), and all this at night.

As you understand, I have finished for me ask and soon the idea of the challenge came to mind ...

The first difficulty was finding a route through the urban area (where no one hardly ever happens at our Sunday outings). And, of course, avoiding the highways and freeways.

few hours on Google Maps just have to find different opportunities that I have tested in the field, which evolves very quickly. For evidence, I discovered a new cycle track between the train station of Massy Palaiseau and Polytechnic which was not documented and could spare me a part of the trail in town ...

After some partial tests, this Monday was my first rehearsal I managed to travel the 30 miles between home and work (a little over 60 if one considers the return). Incidentally, I used to analyze the different alternatives. The goal is to find the safest route possible.

The day dawned with a little fog, but a few kilometers later, coming on the Saclay plateau around the track not listed, the sun was at the appointment. I wanted to test the percentage with a 39x25 and the conclusion is that it is a little hard to train the pace (basic endurance).

Once on board, after considering two dead ends (or became forest roads), I took the piece of road that leads to Saclay and I would like to avoid (the one where cars travel at 200 km / h). Here

arriving at Saclay (at the end of the "famous" straight line) ... At Saclay we can take a bike lane (below) that runs the Institute for Nuclear Studies to continue, just after, to St. Aubin (where no one ever goes) which means that I should give and take, again, the road to Chateaufort. A Chateaufort we enter the new town of St Quentin en Yvelines, and here we feel the difference quickly, because everything has been thought to foment public transport and sustainable development. Of exclusive lanes for buses and other buses for all. The only area where I know we have a real alternative to cars. The dream eco-cycling became a reality.

Pictured below, you have a good example: the road to the left, center the cycle lane and ultimately the right way for the bus. And that's by any ... Under these conditions, the last miles of the course were really a treat: no stress to vehicle traffic and, in addition, it is flat as a table.

And here, the photos on arrival at destination. 1:20 'at leisurely pace, with a little exploring and observing the lights. (sorry, but I had the sun in front)

In return, I used to test alternative routes. For starters, instead of returning to cycling through the chipboard I went on a road which skirts the airport Toussus and, increasingly, is closed to vehicles (except agricultural vehicles and two wheelers). So, I decided that this will be my main course (I do not think that morning, I find the plugs because tractors ;-). After

to avoid the stretch of road between Saclay and the Polytechnic (most dangerous) I turned Saclay (along the N118). A detour of about two kilometers but the track is in good condition.

Crossing the N118 (before descending upon Orsay) there is a bike path that leads to the Polytechnic. I learned that on a map because it is so hidden (wedged between trees and a stone wall) that I had ever seen.

The problem is that it is not maintained: potholes and roots everywhere. With a mountain pass but it could not with my old Vitus. Otherwise, I found that the elasticity is among the many properties of Dural, so before losing all my teeth, because of vibrations, I decided to go back on the road.

Once at the Polytechnic ... I got in! Obviously, this was intentional because inside there is a road ring-shaped (sort of device around all buildings and facilities). Person not monitoring or at the entrance or exit, despite the barriers (which were removed) and guard posts (empty). If it is confirmed I can avoid the piece of road as dangerous.

And from there, downhill without any problems, through the urban area (Palaiseau, Champlan Longjumeau, etc..) To the house. Barely an hour to return. Yesterday I put more time stuck in traffic.

Well, once identified the road (several alternatives) it remains only to equip the bike with lights, buy a reflective vest (adapted cycling), a backpack (for the tie ;-) and finally find the locker room and make sure I have access (they are in a confidential area managed by the Directorate to which I belong). But all that, I'll explain later ...

Also, someone has tested the little guy who is on the zoom bar in Google Maps? I suggest you take the ave mouse and place it on a map point that you're looking ... Watch, we're being watched!

Freemasonry is it esoteric? If yes, this is it esoteric Christian?

November 9 to 18: Conference Jean-François VAR (Paris Institute of Theology St. Denis, contributor of "Cahiers Verts", of "Renaissance Traditional" and "Villard")

The conference aims to analyze different theories concerning the relationship of Freemasonry to the esoteric. Masonry is, in itself, esoteric (theory of Rene Guenon, for example), do is not it at all, or does it serve as a vehicle for some esoteric currents that would have been superimposed? Taking into account the complexity and diversity that characterizes the institution in its various Masonic rites and philosophical choices, Jean-Var Fraçois query the relevance of the concept of Christian esotericism and its possible presence in within the Order.

Ringworm Healing Look Like

MATINEE D’AUTOMME

After overnight rain, we had a Sunday with great weather (at least in these latitudes): 16 ° C return.

And yet, many absences, among them the horses. Without doubt, the fault of the holiday, weekend or extended weekend schedule changes. But the irreducible

were there. From left to right: Mark, Gabi and Philippe (which, for once, ended the road with us, even if he has suffered a bit).

Jean Claude, Marc (again ;-) ... and Eli who disappeared at the approach of the first climb of the day ... ... Gerard
Gabi And again, this time with my bike at the bottom. Good news, Mark has managed, finally, to repairing his bike. He already has the OK of the insurance but it is still waiting for the check :-(

Output to Fontainebleau to go alongside the banks of the Seine (now, the wind blew from the NE) then to minimize its effect on return Marc chose this route.

output calm, at least at first. Here, just after the break pee ...
But later have had some peaks and the pace has accelerated gradually until 'to with an average return of 29.2 km / h. Here

through the forest of Fontainebleau booming autumn. The picture is slightly blurred because the unconscious rolled over 40 km / h on these beautiful landscapes.
And a little later, crossing the Seine at a rate already a bit cooler.
Well, we finally finished with 108 km, which is not bad for a late season. And today, Monday there was still an outlet, even though I was not present. Sorry, I fell asleep and left all alone, an hour later.
